Well, we all know technology is growing at a rapid pace. In a bid to give a push to his Digital India initiative, Narendra Modi will address the world’s largest hackathon today.
Well, as we already mentioned this would be the world’s largest hackathon, which will see nearly 10,000 engineering students compete in the 36-hour non-stop digital programming competition.
The official statement said “The grand finale of Smart India Hackathon will start at 8 am tomorrow and would end at 8 pm on April 2 at 26 different locations in the country with each location handheld by one department or Ministry,”
Well, 29 ministries and government agencies have identified 598 problems to which 7,531 teams were having approximately 42,000 students responded. Well, only 10,000 students from 1,266 teams from 28 states were shortlisted for the finale.
Well, the grand finale of World’s largest Hackathon is already started today at 8 AM and will continue till 8 PM on April 2. According to the reports from Times of India, the winners will be awarded by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) and will also form the community of Innovative minds.
The top three winners who came up with the best solutions will be given Rs 1 Lakh, Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment box below.
