Khalsa College For Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana organized a Parent Teacher Association function on November 01, 2017 to facilitate a common platform for the teachers and the parents where the discussions were held to enrich the educational experiences of the students. Various issues pertaining to the all round develpoment and welfare of students were also discussed. Dr. Nimral Jaura Director Department of Youth Welfare Panjab University Chandigarh, along with his wife Graced the occasion. The honourable gathering comprised of Madam Sarbinder Kaur (Manager of Managing Committee of the college) worthy parents, staff members and students. The parents were mesmerised with the cultural bonanza arranged for them by the enthralling performances of the students in the form of Group Shabad, Histronics, Mimicry, Play, Muhavredar Vartalap, Bhand, Skit, Mime, Group Dance and Luddi.
Dr. (Mrs.) Mukti Gill, Principal appreciated the efforts of the trio-teachers, students and parents for their effective collective work. She further said that it is essential for teachers and parents to meet and discuss things for the overall improvement of the children to make them blossom in an exquisite way. The Principal also acknowledged the efforts put in by the parents in raising their wards in the best possible way and their role in encouraging a positive attitude among the youth. The event culminated with the vote of thanks.
