Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, N.S.S. Unit organized a Thanks-giving event, SAMARPAN 2017 for the college sub-staff and their family members. Director Education, Brigadier H.S. Bhandal, Principal Dr. R.L. Behl, Prof Meenu Goyal and Prof Jai Parkash also attended the function and addressed the sub-staff by giving a vote of thanks for their selfless servicesto college throughout the year. It was a kind gesture by the N.S.S. Team to mark the presence of Bus Drivers, Security Gaurds, Gardeners and House-Keeping Staff along with their wives, husbands and children to honour them for their efforts.
The function was organized uner the guidance of Prof. Meenu Goyal and Prof. Jai Parkash by N.S.S. Core Team Members namely Tanusha Arora, Shagun Bharti, Himanshu Garg, Abheeti, Chahat, Ishpreet, Arshdeep Singh, Jashan Grewal and Simran Pandher. Volunteers Adesh Bajaj, Jitesh Singla, Rupal, Gurleen Kaur, Mridul, Rattandeep, Seerat Sethi, Vanshika, Yukta Verma, Kirat Chhabra and Vaibhav Jain cheered for the sub-staff.
Prof Meenu Goyal told that N.S.S. Volunteer Vrinda Gupta, Tanusha, Shagun, Abheeti, Rattandeep donated various gifts in kind and in cash to be given to the sub-staff members. Bumper prizes were also announced. Sub-staff had a great time showcasing their singing and dancing talents and playing various games. They were also made aware about ‘Child Abuse and were encouraged to be open with their children and never let them live in fear.
Prof Jai Parkash told the function concluded with beautiful smiles on the faces of sub-staff members and their shining eyes. In all it was a great event and N.S.S. Unit members were content that they were able to spread happiness to the people who work for them every day.
