Pakistan’s Foreign Office called the statements made by PM Modi in the UK yesterday “threatening” and that it should be a matter of concern for the international community.

The Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman dismissed the surgical strike altogether. Instead, he blamed India for atrocities in Kashmir and requested the international community to take note of it.

Last night, Prime Minister Modi was speaking with the Indian Diaspora in London in an event called ‘Bharat ki Baat, Sabke Saath’. During the event, Modi termed Pakistan a “terror export factory” which continuously exported terror to India and said that India knew how to respond to such a nation.

Modi said the surgical strike on 2016 was a part of India’s strong response.

Elaborating on the surgical strike, PM Modi said Pakistan was “scared” that Pakistani generals did not answer the phone for a long time when India thought it was right to inform Pakistan first about the surgical strike before making it public.
