Sonam Kapoor’s big fat Punjabi wedding has been the buzz of the month. According to reports, the actress is all set to tie the knot with Anand Ahuja on May 8, in Mumbai.
The Kapoors seem to have begun the celebrations and decorations, and this is clear from their well-lit residence. Recently, Karan Johar, and Sonam’s cousin, Mohit Marwah were spotted outside Anil Kapoor residence.
The dance rehearsals for the sangeet have already begun with Karan Johar preparing a special act.
Anil Kapoor and mom Sunita will be putting together a special act for the bride-to-be at the sangeet. Sonam’s cousins and extended family have joined in as well for the pre-wedding ceremony.
“They will perform to her hit songs like the Veere title track, Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai from the Fawad Khan co-starrer Khoobsurat, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo title track, and Dheere Dheere from her music video with Hrithik Roshan, among others, besides other popular wedding songs,” a source had told Mumbai Mirror.
The mehendi ceremony will be held at Sonam’s house, in Bandra complex. And as for the wedding vows, Sonam and Anand will exchange vows at the heritage mansion of Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh at Bandra.
On the work front, Sonam will next be seen in Veere Di Wedding, which will hit the screens on June 1.
