CT University marks International Yoga day

Ludhiana, June 21, 2019: Yoga helps one to purify not just the human body but human soul. For
celebrating the importance of Yoga in life, CT University marked International Yoga Day in
which the Department of Sports and Physical Education organised yoga sessions. The faculty,
and students participated in the healthy cause.
The event was graced by Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Registrar Dr JS Dhiman, Dean
Academics Dr GS Bakshi and HOSs. The audience was motivated to opt yoga and perform every
day to stay fit and lead a healthy life.
Dr Parveen Sharma, Head of Department of Sports and Physical Education said, “Yoga is an act
towards a healthy life. One must opt for it on daily basis and make it a routine. CT University
will always support and value the importance of Yoga in human life.”
Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti said, “I thank the audience who took a step towards a
healthier life. Yoga gives freshness to the soul and is even a hand towards mental fitness.”
