A large field of over 110 junior ranging from 6-18 year old are participating in the Imperial Champions Junior Golf Invitational organised by 2017 Top Coach Award winner of India Mr Romit Bose at the Imperial Golf Estate from the 7-11 June 2017.
As many as 9 age / gender categories of players will be playing from Different Yardages course layout setup as per their hitting abilities and physical capabilities. This is the unique junior Yardage system scientifically deviced by Romit Bose with use of Trackman Radar device from Denmark to give players and equal opportunity to compete.
The venue is an international Championship layout designed by the great golfing legend Jack Nicklaus himself. “This is the best layout and course in terms of playing conditions by far in Punjab and the players are eagerly awaiting to play on it” said event organiser and sponsor Mr Romit Bose who also thanked the promoter of the golf course Mr Pradeep Jain for his support towards the event and encouragement toward junior golf.
In all his events, underprivileged children and caddies children are not charged entry or registration fee. This is borne by Romit Bose himself.
With all his tournament now running in North India which is at the forefront of junior golf talent in the country, he now has announced plans to launch the largest Inter School Golf League of 24 challenge events across the country in an interesting Golf 9‘s format from July onwards.
Romit Bose’s tour called the Champions Junior Golf Tour has also been sponsoring and running the IGU’s North Zone Junior events as part of his tour every year since 2015. This event at Imperial Golf Estate is one of them.
