LUDHIANA, March 13: Lashing out at Lok Insaf Party MLA Simranjit Singh Bains for trying to spread lies, the Congress MLAs from Ludhiana today termed him as a congenital disruptionist who resorts to drama and theatrics to stay in news.
At the same time they warned him to mend his ways as the times had changed a year ago and he would no longer get away with spreading lies and intimidating people.
IN a joint statement Surinder Dawer, Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Sanjay Talwar and Kuldeep Singh Vaid said, having been rejected in the recently concluded Municipal Corporation elections, Bains was feeling frustrated and trying to divert the public attention.
“He has the habit of resorting to drama to divert attention from his own failures which led to people rejecting him and his type of politics”, they said, while adding, that Bains had lost touch with reality.
The MLAs said, it was an established fact and matter of record that 1.6 lakh people got jobs in the state after Capt Amarinder Singh took over as the Chief Minister a year ago. “Just because Bains is blind to a fact does not mean it does not exist”, they said.
“Bains has a characteristic habit of spreading lies and trying to intimidate opponents and officials”, they said, while warning him that the times have changed and it is the Congress rule led by Capt Amarinder who tolerates no nonsense, which Bains were used to.
They said, law had already started catching up with such people and Bains, who is already facing trial in an attempt to murder case, is no exception and time was not far when he (Bains ) will be cooling his heals in jail.
