JUNE 26 LUDHIANA : CT University in order to educate the students on the benefits and importance of computerised accounting offers Tally course in collaboration with Cyber Labs, an Authorised Tally Institute of Learning. The MOU will facilitate the delivery of Tally courses like Tally ACE, Tally PRO and GST using Tally ERP 9 to make students industry ready with skills. This is done with a view to enrich the practical knowledge of students with respect to current business trends and practices in their domain areas. Students from School of Management i.e., MBA and B.Com (Hons) are offered with this one year course guided and taught by Tally professionals. 30 students were awarded with certificates on the successful completion of this professional course. The students were honoured by worthy Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Dean Academics Dr GS Bakshi, Registrar Dr JS Dhiman and HOS (Management) Dr Amrinder Singh & Dr. Kiran Sood (Tally Coordinator). Tally ACE accounting software is widely preferred in India and throughout the globe approximately in 107 international locations. There are quite a huge number of job opportunities available in Tally in accounting field after the proposal of GST (Goods and Service Tax) since companies in need of skilled professionals to handle their accounting. Nidhi Vijan who scored A+ grade, a student from MBA said, “The course was a learning activity for all of us. The trained professionals interacted with us and taught us. On the successful completion, we are now awarded with certificates which have now added to one more plus point for shaping our future.” Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti said, “An industry based learning course is always beneficial for the students.
