Ludhiana, July 4, 2022: CT University has organized a scientific colloquium with title “Synergy – 2022, Pharmaceutical Academia – Industry Interface. In this event, university jointly with the Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association and Ludhiana Drug Manufacturers Association inaugurated IPGA-Ludhiana Local Chapter at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, CT University. The conference started with lamp lighting ceremony followed by introduction to both associations. The inaugural session began with welcome address by Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor.
The session was further graced by Dr Arun Garg, General Secretary, IPGA-central committee, New Delhi. He spoke about healthcare and pharmacy education empowerment. Furthermore, Dr. Vijay Bhalla, Treasurer, IPGA-central committee, New Delhi, stressed on the theme of the event. The inauguration of IPGA-Ludhiana Local Chapter was done in presence of Pro-Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of CT University with senior officials of both organizations. They ennobled Dr Saurabh Sharma as President, Dr Sudhir Kumar as General Secretary and Dr Dinesh Kumar as Treasurer in local chapter.
The session further progressed with a stage interaction of members of Ludhiana Drug Manufacturers Association, led by RK Bhardwaj, CEO, and Bee Kay Pharma. They shared their professional experience with budding pharmacists and also spoke on various upliftments in pharmacy education.
The session further polished by guest of honour, Dr. Arun Garg, with distribution of life membership and associate life membership certificates to the new IPGA members. The scientific event ended with a hearty vote of thanks by Ati Priye, Director, and CRC, CT University followed by grace of National Anthem of India.
Dr Harsh Sadawarti added the words and said that health care is a major issue today for which new discoveries in medicine and other related fields are taking place at high level. That is why the Pharmaceutical Department of CT University is putting full emphasis on making the students researchers by bringing the best machines in the world.
