When are Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone getting married? Fans and media are waiting to find a definitive answer to this question. A new one to make buzz around town is that the bride-to-be has already started preparing for her D-Day. Yes, according to latest reports, Deepika is off duty right now, tending to her back problem and while she spends time in Bangalore with her family, the actress is also trying to get all the trousseau and wedding shopping done.
Assisting her are her mother Ujjala Padukone and sister Anisha Padukone, says a report on Spotboye. The actress was supposed to get on the sets of the Sapna Didi biopic – Rani – directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. However, her back issue and her lead man Irrfan Khan’s NeuroEndocrine Tumour diagnosis forced the makers to push the shoot for a later date.
While DP is all ready to start work, Bharadwaj has decided to wait for his ‘warrior’ Irrfan to be back before taking the film on floor. And therefore, Deepika, who hasn’t signed any other film as yet, is using the opportunity to get one of the most important aspects of the wedding – bridal shopping – out of her way.
Her beau Ranveer Singh on the other hand is prepping for the next schedule of Gully Boy and Simmba. It is being speculated that the two families are deciding on a destination wedding, that is to happen sometime this year. While it will be an intimate affair, the stars will throw two receptions – one in Deepika’s hometown in Bengaluru and one in Mumbai for the couple’s friends and colleagues from the film industry.
Ranveer and Deepika have never shied away from expressing their fondness for each other. Their PDAs have been proof of their love for each other. Let’s hope that when they do decide on a date, they announce it to their fans and media instead of going the Virushka way and letting people know only after secretly getting married.
