Seminar on Effective Parenting was conducted at Delhi public kids school Barewal road Ludhiana . The Speaker Ms. Anuradha Mehra, who is the director of the school, winner of Global Achievers Award and has also gained the appreciation from Ms.Smriti Irani (Ex HRD MINISTER) for her commendable work as a teacher . She holds an experience of about 20 years in corporate and education world. Being an economist and psychologist, she took this initiative of approaching the parents of kids aging 2-7 yrs who are facing daily challenges to handle their own kids.
The fussy eating habits, Stubborn Nature of kids, more influence of TV and electronic gadgets like mobiles and laptops, less interest in reading and outdoor activities were amongst the main issues that parents came up with. The one to one discussion was the key feature of the event and people carried home the solution of atleast few such issues.
She said that Delhi public kids school Barewal Ludhiana will be organising more such session like Follow-up On Effective Parenting and also for Would be mothers to help them handle single child and Children with new sibling in the family.
