Bajaj College (Affiliated to Panjab University), organised an educative seminar on ‘Financial Literacy’ and ‘Corporate Psychology’ wherein the key-note speakers were Mr. Abhishek Luthra and Mr. Munish Sharma respectively who are experts in the mentioned subjects. Students were guided on how to utilize their financial assets effectively to attain optimum profits. Knowledge was also imparted on what are the skills which act as pre-requisites, apart from a professional degree, before entering into the corporate world. Investment avenues like mutual funds, fixed deposits, certificate of deposits, commercial paper, treasury bills, etc were clarified elaborately to the pupils. Systematic Investment Plans (SIP) were also a major topic of discussion. Learners from the commerce, computer and management departments participated enthusiastically by asking queries in the workshop. The Principal, Dr. Shikha Dhall, gave souvenirs to the resource persons as a token of thanks for acquainting the students with a glimpse of the business world.
