The Fashion Designing Department of Khalsa College for Women, civil lines, Ludhiana organised a fashion show titled Glam Girls 2018. The budding fashion designers showcased their artistic and creative expression in the three rounds. The first round was based on the theme of upcycling to promote the use of environment friendly and socially responsible methods of production. The second round was based on the 1958 fashion trends to mark the 60th anniversary of the college and to recreate and relive the retro fashion. The third round comprised of model designer round where the designers walked the ramp along with their models. The winners of the fashion show were: the best designer was cinched by Manpreet Kaur.
Priya Was declared the first runner up and Kiran stood second runner up. The best dress award was given to Himani.
And was adjudged the best model Arushi.
The principal Dr. Mrs. Mukti Gill congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of the Fashion designing department.
