Ludhiana (May 14,2018): Hyatt Regency Ludhiana announced the appointment of Mr.Manas Banerjee as General Manager.Following a distinguished career in hospitality and with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Manas Banerjee has been appointed General Manager of Hyatt Regency Ludhiana. His most recent assignment was as General Manager atHyatt Bangalore MG Road.
As General Manager, his responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of property management in accordance with the company mission statement, including the maximisation of financial performance, guest satisfaction and staff development within established quality standards. He is additionally responsible for the hiring, training and discipline of all hotel staff. He is also responsible for managing and developing a successful relationship between the owners of the property and the Hyatt management team.
Mr Banerjee has vast experience in the hospitality sector and brings with him intricate knowledge of the industry and international operating standards as well as pre-opening functions. He is a hotel management graduate from the Institute of Advanced Management Kolkata and commenced his career with Holiday Inn, Krishna (now Taj Deccan). This was followed by a move to Holiday Inn Vadodara and then to ITC Fortune Hotels ChennaiSubsequently, Mr Banerjee joined Radisson Hotel as the General Manager, where he played a key role in the hotel’s opening and performance, followed by a General Manager stint at Crowne Plaza Electronic City Bangalore. His last assignment was with Hyatt Bangalore as the General Manager. Mr Banerjee is also certified in CHBA (Certificate in Hospitality and Business Acumen).
His belief in hard work, performance, attention to detail and an appetite for constant innovation will help Hyatt Regency Ludhiana to provide a true Hyatt experience to all its guests.In addition to being a sports lover, he is an avid reader and the travel bug has taken him to many a places.
