Steering away from his comic roles, Jackie Chan takes on the former James Bond in his new film, “The Foreigner”. The first look of the film is out, which is an adaptation of Stephen Leather’s 1992 novel, The Chinaman. The film sees Jackie Chan in the role of a London Restaurant owner, who loses his daughter in an IRA bombing and goes to extreme lengths to track down the terrorists. Directed by Martin Campbell, this film is set for an October release.

The film’s tag line says, never push a good man too far…as Jackie Chan plays the father, who is out on a rampage to seek revenge for his daughter’s death. It’s first of its kind dramatic role for Jackie Chan and with him being up against Pierce Brosnan, The Foreigner has got our expectations high.
