Kangana Ranaut on Manikarnika: Will lead questions to National Awards’ credibility if it doesn’t receive award

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is currently in cloud nine post the tremendous success of her latest movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Kangana, who is known for her straight forward statements, recently said that if she does not receive a National Award for her portrayal of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, then it will lead questions to their credibility. Kangana also expects that in the upcoming months, there won’t be any better performances than Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Kangana also went on to appreciate Tabu‘s acting performance in the movie Andhadhun.

Kangana had previously received National Awards for three of her movies, Fashion, Queen and Tanu weds Manu. Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in the upcoming movie Mental Hai Kya opposite Stree actor Rajkummar Rao. The film also stars Amrita Puri, Jimmy Shergill and Amyra Dastur in significant roles. Shah Rukh Khan will be seen doing a cameo role in the movie which has been produced by Ekta Kapoor. Mental Hai Kya, which has been directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, will be released on May 24, 2019.
