Bags and stationery items were distributed to Kids of Ekjot Viklang Children School
Ludhiana : Kicking off the week-long corporate social responsibility week by the MBD Group, as a part of their Founders’ week, school bags and stationery items were distributed among the students of Ekjot viklang children school, BRS Nagar on Friday The staff of MBD Neopolis mall and Radisson Blu hotel MBD Ludhiana participated in the CSR activity and had lunch with Kids and spent quality time with special kids. MBD group is all set to Celebrate 73 rd birthday of its founder Shri Ashok Kumar Malhotra on July 10 th and eighth founders day of whole group.
The event started with the lighting of the lamp in front of the photograph of Late Ashok Malhotra. About 80 students and their staff attended the event with other officials of MBD Group.After the lamp lighting ceremony, the children were enlightened about founder Late Ashok Malhotra and his achievements and success by Hotel Manager Abhay Kumar
After the enlightening talk, the children were made aware their friends with My Best Deed Mate Band which was followed by the distribution of the bags.
Chairperson of MBD Group Satish Bala Malhotra said, “With belief of Moving beyond dreams it is our endeavour to ensure that we work on the vision of Late Shri Ashok Malhotra. He has given us the values of ethic and hard work and we walk on the path that was lit by his vision.”
Managing Director of MBD Group Monica Malhotra Kandhari said, “We take great pride to take forward legacy of our father This is a legacy that we will always work hard o maintain and make better.” We believe in motivation, belief and determination and these things have been instilled in us and we hope to see the same in those who work for us and in ourselves as well.
Joint Managing Director Sonica Malhotra Kandhari said, “We have made this humble attempt to give back to society. We have chosen to hold activities in Punjab as well because this is the place from where we started and where roots are are. MBD Group is observing MBD CSR week at all our Malls, hotels, MBD Books and other businesses.”
Apart from CSR activities were also organized in Delhi, Noida and Jalandhar. The audio aids were distributed and cooking class and voice and accent training was organized for the children of the associated NGO. The final celebrations will be held at Noida in a grand manner.
