Nawabi Food Festival will continue till November 30 th at Made in India restaurant of Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana

Ludhiana: Bringing the essence of rich and traditional food of Hyderabad and Lucknow, the Nawabi food festival at Made in India restaurant of Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana offers unique treats of Nawabi cuisine. The 15 day long food festival will continue till November 30 th.

Curated by Chef Mohammad Asif and Mumtaz Ansari the food festival at Made in India restaurant will feature cuisines from Hyderabad which is a blend of Persian, Mughlai and Lucknowi. They said food festival is all about sumptuous food with a royal ambience. To start with once can savor the Murgh Zafrani Shorba and   Shorba-e-barkush.

Chef Mumtaz Ansari said “In starters, Samak-e-sakhnavi (Spiced fish minced skewers cooked on charcoal), Mughlai Gosht ki shammi (tender mutton minced galettes with spices cooked on slow heat with chilies adding bengal gram and finished on tawa) will be the specialty of the food festival. Another starters includes Badshahi Galouti kebab, Angara Murgh and  Murgh Kalmi Kabab (chicken drumstick marinated in garlic, cashew nut paste, Garam masala,chilli powder,black pepper roasted cumin infused yoghurt finished in tandoor).

Apart from the famous Nawabi Murg dum biryani, dishes like Awadhi Gosht Korma (mutton cooked in a traditional Lucknowi dum style), Mughlai Khaas Nihari, Murgh Nawabi Lukma and Murgh Shahi korma and Dal Mughlai, have been laid out for the foodies. The dessert includes malai kulfi, zafrani rasmalai, mewa aur gajar ka halwa.

General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana, Abhay Kumar said, Inspired by the huge response to the Chake Le Punjab food festival at Café Delish restaurant and Spice route at Rare Eastern Dining (R.E.D) in the month of November. We thought to indulge in some ‘nawabi’ savoury delights at Made in India restaurant. He said that they have introduced various other packages apart from the food festivals so that people in the can enjoy some best regional Indian  and global food at our specialty restaurants.
