Deputy Commissioner Mr Pardeep Kumar Agrawal today launched the newly revamped website of district ludhiana, that can be accessed by visiting https://ludhiana.gov.in or https://ludhiana.nic.in. This website is based on S3WaaS (Secure, Scalable and Sugamya Website as a Service) framework. It is bilingual (English and Punjabi) and can be accessed as https://ludhiana.gov.in or https://ludhiana.nic.in.
Deputy Commissioner Mr Agrawal informed that the revamped website provides enhanced user-friendly functionalities and interfaces. It has responsive design i.e. it can be accessed through any internet ready device and is in compliance with GIGW (Guidelines for Indian Government Websites) standard website norms and robust security standards.
He said that the website can now be accessed by visually impaired persons by using the speaking software which is easily installable on any system. Special feature has been added for colour blind users, using which they can change the contrast of website for easy access.
Mr Kashmir Singh, Senior Technical Director cum DIO, NIC and Mr Inderjeet Singh, Principal System Analyst cum ADIO, NIC, informed that the website has been developed on S3WaaS platform by NIC District Centre Ludhiana under the guidance of S3WaaS Team NIC, Head Quarters, New Delhi.
