World environment day is an international event which is conducted worldwide to draw our attention towards improving our environment. Ms Ritu Chandna, Finalist Haut Monde Mrs India 2019 took an initiative to create awareness for need of drinking water for animals and birds. She distributed more than 200 earthen pots Free of Cost so that birds can drink water. She appealed to the visitors that as the summers have already set in and day temperatures are soaring very high, water is must for them to survive. As humans it’s our moral responsibility and concern to take care for the birds and animals around us. She requested them to fill it with water and keep at their gate and on the roof top.
Ritu Chandna owner of Nura Electro world is also the first lady in the city to venture into ‘Electronic World’ with the opening of ‘Nura Electro World’ (N.E.W) on Gill Road. Apart from being a MBA and having worked in IT, banking, and education industry she had already established herself in Jewelry retailing business. A trained ‘Kathak’ dancer and an accomplished ‘Painter’, she also joins hands with charitable and social welfare organizations.
