Since 64 schools in the district have not consented for the vaccination, a meeting was conducted at the District Education Officer’s office (DEO) on Monday with the principals from the government schools where officials from the Health Department were also present.

Dr Parvinder Pal Singh Sidhu, Civil Surgeon, said, On Monday, a meeting was conducted with the government schools and very soon the meeting with both government and private schools will be held and will be chaired by the Deputy Commissioner.
