PAU STUDENT TO VISIT ISRAEL

Ms Inderpal Kaur, a Ph.D student of the Department of Biochemistry, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been selected for the Food Safety and Security Summer Institute-2018, a programme sponsored by Tel Aviv University, Israel. The aim of this programme is to provide better knowledge about the present situation of the world regarding food safety issues.  Inderpal Kaur will be visiting Tel Aviv University, Israel, in July and working with the faculty and leading international experts on policy and nutrition track. She will be given a full scholarship that will be covering her tuition fee, residence and health insurance apart from her air fare. At present, she is pursuing her Ph.D. programme under the guidance of Dr Neena Chawla, Senior Biochemist, and conducting her research work on anticancer properties of onion.
