Ludhiana, May 29: Member of Parliament (MP) Ravneet Singh Bittu on Tuesday said that on the call of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC), district level protests will be held in the state on May 31 against continuing rise into fuel’s prices.
MP said that a similar demonstration will be organized outside the office of Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner at 11 am.
He told that cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu, All Congress MLAs, district Congress chief and others would actively take part in this protest and will chant slogans against the union government to remind the NDA government of its promises. Later, a memorandum will be handed over to Deputy Commissioner against union government. He appealed the party workers to participate in the protest and asked them to join the protest by wearing black clothes.
