Ludhiana : On the occasion of World Environment Day, Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana and MBD Neopolis dedicated the day as “people’s day” for doing something to take care of the Earth as its global saying for creating awareness for environment day. The visitors at MBD Neopolis mall wrote pledge and were distributed 200 saplings. As host nation India focussed on “Beat Plastic Pollution” theme the same was observed at mall and hotel. The painting competition was organised for hotel staff on beat plastic pollution theme. The best paintings were framed and were put on notice board.
Mall Manager of MBD Neopolis mall Sandeep Rawat said, “Mall management understands the importance of the World Environment Day which is meant to generate worldwide awareness of environmental issues such as global warming, climate change and pollution. He said asking the visitors to write a pledge and gifting them sapling on special day was act of creating awareness among visitors at mall.
