Ingredients
-3/4 cup gram flour (besan)
-1/2 cup powdered sugar
-1/3 cup ghee
-1 pinch salt
-1/4 cup wholemeal flour
-1/4 teaspoon baking powder
-2 green cardamom

For Garnishing
10 almonds

How to make Besan Nankhatai
Step 1 : Take out the cardamom seeds and with the help of pestle and mortar, crush the seeds to a powder. You can also make the powder in a mixer jar. Next, take a bowl and mix powdered sugar along with green cardamom powder and mix well. Then add ghee in the bowl and mix until creamy. After preparing this creamy sugar mixture, in a different bowl, sieve the wholemeal or whole wheat flour, gram flour (besan), salt, and baking powder together.

Step 2: Take a dough-kneading plate and add the flour mixture along with the creamy sugar and knead to form a smooth dough. Make small balls of this dough and garnish with few sliced almonds on top of each nankhatai.

Step 3: Bake these prepared nankhatais in a pre-heated air fryer at 160 degrees for about 8 minutes. Cool down completely and store in an airtight container.
