An Inter-college Badminton Tournament was organized by Directorate of Sports, Panjab University, Chandigarh, in which the women team of SAVJC College won the bronze medal. Another achievement was made by Himanshu of BBA-I, who won the bronze medal in an inter-college judo competition. Himanshu has also won the silver medal in judo at district level and bronze medal at state level in ‘Khedan Vatan Punjab Diyan’ held at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana. It is a proud moment for the college as well as for the students who worked hard and brought laurels to the college.
The President of the College Managing Committee, Sh. Komal Jain (Duke), and the members of managing committee and the principal, Dr Sandeep Kumar, expressed their happiness and congratulated the winners on their achievements and also encouraged other students to participate in sports events so that students could show their talent and enhance their skills.
