Shree AtamVallabh Jain College, Ludhiana organised Industrial Visit to Vardhman Textile Mill Ltd Sector 32, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana for the student of BBA & B.Com. 50 students under the guidance of Prof. Rishi Kesh&Dr.HarleenKaur visited the Industry. The student interacted with Ms.DeepikaSukhija the Manager(personnel& IR). Shebriefedthe students about the company’s history, major milestones achieved and work environment. The students got an exposure on the practical aspect of the different techniques of producing thread, dying process, various stages of production process and the information related to the plant and products. The students were informed about the capacity of Unit, employees and various incentive schemes. They also visited various sections of the company such as Hand Knitting, Dying Units, Cuttingand winding units etc.
The President of College Managing Committee Sh. Ashok Jain, General Secretary Sh. Narinder Jain, officiating Principal Prof. Rajiv Bhatia and Coordinator Sh. H.R. Saini applauded the efforts of the teachers and they added that such visits motivate the students and impart them practical knowledge.
