SRI AUROBINDO COLLEGE AND TIME ORGANISED YOUNG MANAGER – 2018 AT SACCM

Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana organised SACCM YOUNG MANAGER – 2018, inSACCM campus, under Young Entrepreneurs Network (YEN), sponsored by T.I.M.E, Ludhiana, the leading career guiding institute we have in the city. This was organised under Prof Jai Parkash and Prof Meenu Goyal by students facilitatorsHimanshu Garg, Anshit Aggarwal, Varun Bansal, Vaibhav Jain, Vanshika Gupta, Abheeti and Shagun Bharti.

The potential of students was tested through three rounds which involved Case Study, Business Plan and Group Discussion round.

The main objective behind conducting this event was to provide the participants with first-hand experience of spontaneous thinking and answering of questions along with Group Discussion. Also the skills of students were nurtured when the judges from T.I.M.E namely Dr. Tavleen Kaur, Ms. Puneet Walia, Mr. Jatin Sehgal, Mr. Surya Vivek Narula, Mr. Vinod Sachdeva and Mr. Karan Sabarwal, gave their honest opinions and advices to the participants.

In all 23 teams participated in the event. Namya Jain (Team Coordinator), Arshdeep Singh and Udit Dargan Arora bagged the first position in case study round, followed by Raghav Bansal (TC), Naval Garg, Harmanjeet Singh, Saumya Soni and Dilpreet Kaur stood second, Manveer Sachdeva (TC), Sahil Gupta, Nishant Singla, Manav Gupta and Japleen Kaur Pahwa took the third position and finally Manan Jain (TC), Harsheen Kalra, Hemant Dhingra, Deepasha Gupta, Tanveesh Dewan and Avneet Grover stood at fourth position. Anuvesh Sachdeva(TC), Muskan Gupta, Tanya Goel, Abhishek Jain, Ruchir Vyas and Saloni Verma bagged first position in business plan round, followed by team of Raghav Bansal which stood second, Harsh Garg(TC), Shailza Gupta, Chandan Arora, Niharika Goyal, Manpreet Kaur and Sakshi Hiran stood at third position and finally team of Manan Jain which took the fourth position.

Udit Dargan Arora, Raghav Bansal and Arshdeep Singh were awarded with the first, second and third position respectively for the title of SACCM Young Managers – 2018. Participants were given certificates of appreciation. Director Education Dr. Sushil Kumar, Principal Dr. R. L. Behl, Prof Jai Parkash and Prof Meenu Goyal applauded the efforts of students and motivated them to groom their personalities by participating in such activities on a frequent basis.

Prof. Jai Parkash and Prof. Meenu Goyal motivated the students to give their best. Student organisers tried their best to make this event successful and also learnt a lot by organising. Dr Behl said college look forward to organising such activities on a frequent basis in order to nourish the best talent and skills in their students.
