Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organised a Blood Donation Camp under the guidance of Director Education Brigadier H S Bhandal, Principal Dr R L Behl, Prof Meenu Goyal and Prof Jai Parkash in collaboration with Zindagi Live Foundation Ludhiana. Blood Banks from DMC and Raghunath Hospital collected blood from this camp.Dr Aarshdeep Singh from DMC and Dr Tarsem Singh from Raghunath Hospital were present along with their teams. Mr. Rajesh Kapoor, President Zindagi Live Foundation, Mr. Nitin Walia, Mr. Jai Pal from Zindagi Live were present through out the camp to motivate the donors and appreciate their efforts. A total of 118 units of blood 68 Boys and 58 Girls were donated by the students and faculty members from the college. Prof Meenu Goyal, Prof Jai Parkash the College NSS Programme Officers, Anish Bansal, Himanshu Garg, Jashan Grewal, Abheeti, Ishpreet, Tanusha, Arshdeep, Shagun Bharti, Simran, Chahat, Sahanu, Savneet, Kirat, Arushi, Rattandeep, Adesh and other members of NSS motivated the students to donate blood and contribute towards this nobel cause for community service. Director Education Brigadier H S Bhandal, Principal Dr. R. L. Behl, Prof Meenu Goyal and Prof Jai Parkash appreciated the efforts of the team NSS in organizing this blood donation camp and applauded all the donors for contributing to this nobel cause. Prof Meenu Goyal also assured that the SACCM students contribute to this nobel cause whenever college come across any such need of blood from any segment of society and the college will keep on contributing towards this nobel cause always in future. Prof Jai Parkash appreciated the contribution of volunteer donors and said college is spreading awareness on importance of blood donation so that more and more people come forward to donate blood and serve the humanity. There were approx 50 students who donated blood for first time.
