Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management held its Annual Prize Distribution Function on March 31, 2018. The chief guest of the day was Dr. Deepak kapur, Professor and Chairperson, University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Prof Monica Sethi gave the introductory speech and welcomed the chief guest. After the formal welcome, Principal Dr. RL Behl, read the college annual report. When he was reading the report the hall was thundering with the sound of claps on the outstanding achievements of the students. He acquainted the audience with the enviable attainments of the college in different spheres. In total 240 students were awarded more than 700 prizes for their genii in various fields of Stage, Studies and Stadium. The students were jubilant over their success. Parents of the star students of SACCM were also honoured in the function. Prof. Deepak Kapur spoke on the value of Education. He applauded the students for their stupendous achievements. He added that students are the future of India. Hence they should work still harder to make the country proud. Dr. Sushil Kumar, (Director, Education) presented vote of thanks. He expressed his deep sense of gratitude to the Chief Guest of the day for his valuable time and support. He also applauded the efforts of the faculty and the students for successfully organising the event. Brigadier HS Bhandal (Director, Education) felicitated everyone for holding the function in a grand style. Prof. Monica Sethi and Prof. Meenu Gupta were comperes for the day. At last the whole gathering sang the National Anthem, and then the function was closed over luncheon.
