The NSS unit of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organised a visit to Swami Vivekanand Meditation Pyramid. NSS Volunteers alongwith Prof Meenu Goyal and Prof Jai Parkash from the college volunteered to spend their time in Meditation Pyramid. All the arrangements for the visit were done well in advance under the guidance of Director Education Brigadier H S Bhandal, Principal Dr R L Behl and the Faculty Incharges Prof Meenu Goyal and Prof Jai Parkash.
The NSS volunteers Ishpreet Kaur, Jinesha Jain, Jashan Grewal, Avtar, Shagun Himani and Himanshu arranged for the visit. The volunteers spend time there and were introduced by Sh. Anil Bharti ji to the Swami Vivekanand Meditation Centre which is the first meditation pyramid in the North India. He took an interactive session on meditation and addressed to various questions of the NSS volunteers regarding meditation. Prof Meenu Goyal said it was a learning and life changing experience for the faculty members and NSS volunteers. Dr R L Behl said the college has meditation facility in the college for students.
The college is involved in organising various activities for the physical and mental health of the students and faculty. Prof Jai Parkash motivated the students and wished them best of luck for their Nobel efforts for society. The volunteers also spent time with the Swami Vivekanand Vridh Ashram inmates and distributed them fruits.
