The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification for at least 54, 953 posts for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.

The registration for the recruitment to these posts will begin today, July 21 and the last date to apply for the same is August 20.

Application fees of Rs. 100 needs to be paid. Women and reserved candidates are exempted for the same.

Steps to apply for various posts under SSC Recruitment 2018:
Step 1: Visit the official website- ssconline.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link which reads- ‘SSC Recruitment 2018’.
Step 3: Click on the post you would wish to apply for.
Step 4: Enter your details and click on submit.
Step 5: Pay the application fees of Rs. 100 through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking, Visa, Master Card, Maestro Credit or Debit Card.
Step 6: Take a print out of the filled form for future reference.
It must be noted that that the candidates must be between 18 to 23 years of age as on August 1, 2018 to be eligible to sit for the examination. But the upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories of persons in accordance with the Governments orders on the subject.
Also, women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation do not have to pay any kind of application fee.
