Ludhiana, June 20 (000)-To celebrate the birth anniversary of Master Tara Singh, a great leader of Sikh community and Punjab, the Government of Punjab is going to organise an event on the 24th June 2019. Mr. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Cabinet Minister for Cooperation and Jails departments will be the chief guest of this event.
For the better arrangements of the event, a meeting was held in Punjabi Bhawan today. Ravinder Singh Bhattal President Punjabi Sahit Academy Ludhiana, Prof. Gurbhajan Singh Gill former President Academy and renowned Punjabi poet, Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal District Public Relations Officer Ludhiana, Sahejpreet Singh Mangat, Mandeep Singh Grewal, Harish Pakhowal and Sumit Gulati was present in the meeting.
This is pertinent to mention that this event is going to be organized by the Punjab Government with the help of Punjabi Sahit Academy Ludhiana in Punjabi Bhawan. Many renowned personalities including ministers will grace the function.
Bhattal and Prof. Gill said that academy will support district administration to make this event successful. Further, they thanked Punjab Government for choosing academy to hold this state-level event.
After the meeting a book named ‘Faraz De Raah’ based on Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Harbaksh Singh and translated by Gurdeep Kaur was also released.
