Summer Talent Workshops’ Cultural Bonanza at BVM USN

June 10 Ludhiana The weeklong ‘Summer Talent Train 2018’ at BVM USN concluded with Cultural Extravaganza in which Bhartiyans participated in different clubs like Heritage Club, Dance Club, Music club, Art & Craft Club, Kids zone, English Ville etc. They were offered a plethora of activities which included Craft activities, Culinary skills, Dance, Music, Theatre and Yoga. The cultural bonanza organized on June 10, 2018, commenced with a lightening of ceremonial lamp by P. C. Goyal (Secretary), Manmohan Bamba (Treasurer), Manoj Gupta (Member) which was followed by Saraswati Stuti (Dance Club). Geetika and Sakshi (Literary Club) presented the report on summer workshop in which they highlighted the thrilled spirits of the students while learning new talents in the Talent Train. The nationalism amongst audience was aroused via a melodious patriotic song ‘Anokha Bharat’ by the musical choir under the guidance of Music Club facilitators. A play (Dramatics Club) based on the theme of the golden jubilee year – ‘Let’s Connect to Bring out the Best’ highlighted the need of a bond between Parents, teachers and students. It was performed by the participants of the English Ville which was followed by a mesmerizing English Song ‘The World is Yours’ by the talented students of the Ville. Further, a peppy dance performance Rainbow of Rhyme and Rhythm was unveiled by the cupcakes of the kindergarten. The enthusiastic presentation of the rich heritage and the culture of Punjab ‘Virasat-e-Punjab’ left everybody spellbound. Apart from this a stunning exhibition was also a part of the bonanza. Young Bhartiyan tinkers showcased their creations by putting their imagination in the form of marvellous innovative models. The center of attraction in the exhibition was ‘Six Stroke Engine’ made by Ekamjot Singh XII – S2, Danish Bansal XII – S1 under the guidance of Mr. Shrikant and Mr. Garry Agnihotri which is fuel efficient and Eco-Friendly too. Also, Accurate Projectile Shooting made by Ankit Shukla, Deepanshu Bains and Nakul XII – S2 was one of the attractions. Taark IX – D showed his concern for the social cause as he made ‘Smart Stick for the Blinds’ which can help blind people to walk in the streets. ‘Chalk Dust Absorber’ was made by Jatin and Bhavya X-D. It prevents the damage caused to the respiratory organs of students and teachers by the dust of the chalk while writing on the board. CNC – Computerized Numerical Controller made by Suraj & Daksh, Solar Mobile Charger made by Manish and Munish IX – C, captured the attention of the viewers. Efficient, convenient and quick method to clean the floor using ATL Mechanzo Kit was made by Aakash VIII-A. P. C. Goyal , Secretary, B.V.M. Trust proposed vote of thanks. Principal Bandana Sethi applauded the efforts of students along with Staff Members and encouraged them to develop their latent skills and talents to the next level. The event culminated with ‘Vande Matrm’.
