Actress Tanushree Dutta, who was at the forefront of the #MeToo movement in Bollywood last year, has now hit out at Ajay Devgn for working with rape-accused actor, Alok Nath.

Devgn is collaborating with Nath for his upcoming film ‘De De Pyaar De’ that also stars Tabu and Rakul Preet, and has been written and co-produced by Luv Ranjan. The movie’s trailer, featuring scenes with Nath, received flak on social media.

Commenting on Nath continuing to work in the industry despite the ongoing case against him, Dutta said that the film’s makers should’ve re-shot the part of the film featuring Nath.

“Before the posters and trailer, nobody knew that Alok Nath was in the film so if Ajay Devgn and the makers wanted they could have just quietly replaced him and re-shot his portions,” the actress was quoted as saying in a statement released by her publicist.
