Two BCM Arya team to participate in 30th National Children Science Congress

It is a matter of great pride that two teams of BCM Arya got selected for 30th National Children Science Congress to be held at Ahmedabad from 27th – 31st Jan. 2023 at both Junior and Senior levels after qualifying District Level wherein 900 students from 23 districts of Punjab participated. Earlier 300 students from 139 schools of Punjab qualified for State level which was held at DAV University, Jalandhar.

The Junior Team comprised of Namya Sharma and  Mankirat Singh from Class VI represented their research project on the topic ‘Mulching: Way to water saving and improved plant health’ under the guidance of Mrs. Monica Sood and Ms. Rimaljeet Kaur from BCM Cambridge. The Senior team comprised of Yamya Nayyar (Class-X) and PearlPreet Kaur (Class – IX) represented their research project on the topic ‘To know what we don’t know – the hidden side of Herbs ‘ under the guidance of Mrs. Ranjana Kaushal and Dr. Jasgeet Sophia from BCM Arya, CBSE.

Furthermore, the senior team will represent state of Punjab for 108th Indian Science Congress to be held at Nagpur from 3rd to 7th Jan. 2023. While congratulating the teams, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Anuja Kaushal lauded the hard work and sincere efforts of the students and teachers. She appreciated the teams for exhibiting creativity and innovativeness to solve the societal problems using science.

On the whole, CSC kindled curiosity of children, and provided them opportunity to unfold their ingenuity and stretched their imagination.
