World Chocolate Day by Green Land Convent School

 organized Inter – House Chocolate/Dessert Mocktail Making Competition on the occasion of World Chocolate Day. The students of different houses participated with great spirit and enthusiasm and marked their perfection in the field of taste and delight using common available ingredients. The participants of each house explained the speciality of their mocktail and chocolate desserts in our regular diet for maintaining good health and keeping diseases at bay. The Kindergarten section also celebrated the Chocolate Day. It was a treat watching the tiny tots decorating the chocolate desserts. They were extremely happy and enjoyed the day a lot.The main focus of the competition was not only the preparation of yummy choco desserts andmouth wateringmocktail but also upon students’ artistic presentation which carried an aesthetic aspect. Equal emphasis was paid on the hygienic consideration which was to be kept in view while preparing and dressing the final product. It was amazing to watch the children engrossed in making chocolate desserts and dazzling mocktail and showcasing their talents. The remarkable spirit of future chefs elated each and everyone present there.

The School Principal, Mrs.JyotiPujara said that she felt proud to see such higher level of expertise among her students. She also told the Green Knights good eating habits will help them not only to improve their nutritional well being, but also prevent nutition related diseases. Such events aim at bringing elements of fun and excitement through the spirit of competition.

She applauded the efforts of students and announced the judgement. First position was acquired by KirtiHouse, second position was grabbed by Jyoti House, and third position was obtained by Shakti House.

On the whole the day was proposed to be learning filled with joy and creativity which ended at addition in felicitating the students to have awareness of food nutritive value.
