235 PEOPLE TAKE PART IN CAMP FOR PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS MLA KULDEEP SINGH VAID INAUGURATES THE CAMP

LUDHIANA, JUNE 12 (CNI): As many as 235 people got registered themselves in the camp for persons with special needs, a part of 10-day long camp that started on June 4.

The camp was held in Gill Garden Resorts that comes under Gill Constituency.

The camp was inaugurated by MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid and District Congress Chief Gurdev Singh Lapran inaugurated the camp.

MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid said that the wheelchairs, tricycles, hearing aid, speaking devices, artificial limbs and other things worth Rs 20.10 lakh will be distributed among them at free of cost.

He said that experts of Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) are preparing the lists of things after assessing the extent the need of such people who are taking part in the camps and all these things will be given to them within three months.

MLA informed that on June 13, the camp will be held in Dr. Ambedkar Bhawan falls under Dakha Constituency.
