17th Feb 2019, Indoor Stadium, Ludhiana was the venue where a huge de-addiction camp “Pratigya” was organized. This is the 31st program organized by ‘Yuva Pariwar Sewa Samiti’ which works nationally for a Drug free India. A team of five Ayurvedic and Homeopathic doctors checked the patients and prescribed Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medicines free of cost at the camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Shri Ravneet Bittu Member of Parliament, Rakesh Panday MLA Ludhiana , Rajesh Dhiman vice president, bjp ldh. Urban, Sri kamal chetaly sen. Bjp leader ldh., lighted the inaugural lamp. Addressing a gathering of around 2000, Shri stands wit0h all the organizations who are helping to free Punjab from the deadly clutches of alcohol and drugs and who are determined for and engaged in creating a new society free of Drugs. He congratulated YuvaPariwarSewaSamiti’s efforts in this regard and praised the energetic youth for their zealous work and he encouraged them to continue their work in future too.
Member of Parliament Ravneet Bittu addressing the program said he wanted to see a drug free and crime free society. For achieving a drug addiction free society, he said he was ready to extend all possible help to Yuva Pariwar Sewa Samiti.

Surinder lamba (IPS) promised the citizens of Ludhiana that Police force is always ready in its fight against all kinds of addictions. They have reiterated their support to all organizations and groups who work for benefit of Society.
Famous comedy artist of Bollywood Shri Sudesh Lehri had entertained the audience with his satirical and comedy style and alerted everyone about the destructive power of drugs.
A Punjabi drama “sulagtidastaan” was performed in the program. It depicted the destruction due to addiction to drugs.
Yuva Parivar Sewa Samiti arranged free tea and lunch at the camp for all patients. Dr. Parminder Moudgilin charge of medical team announced that after 17th Feb next camp will be organized at Lionsbhavan, DMC road, Ludhiana on 24th Feb 2019. Patients are given free medicines for a month in these camps. Thanking all the guests present at the program the General Secretary of YPSS, Dr. Rajbir Singh said that we are working against such social problems like drugs addiction, female foeticide, indecency and vulgarity in society, to save environment and will continue to do so. Ludhiana Mayor Shri Balkar Singh Sandhu, Dr. Rakesh Sharma Director Ayurved, Punjab, Parvinder Singh Sidhu CMO, Dr. Manjeet Singh district Ayurvedic Officer, Dr. Harjinder Singh district Homeopathy officer, Dinesh Sarpal (ex. President vyapaar cell bjp pb, Ashwani Sharma ( president congress urban), Rocky Bhatiya M.C, Smt. Sonia Sharma ( councller bjp W.D No 31), Rupinder singh W.D No. 43 dugri, Dilraj singh counceller bjp W.D 70, Rashi aggarwal (counceller W.D 81), Chaudary jaspal bjp (W.D 8), Sarbjit singh sarba sen. Congress (W.D 31) also helped in the program.
