Admiring the art of photography

Ludhiana, 27th March 2018 : The students from Department of Journalism & Mass Communication organised a photography exhibition in the Crimson Hall of PCTE Campus 2. This exhibition was solely organised, planned & managed by the students itself with some guidance of their teachers.

In the exhibition the students displayed the pictures clicked by them. Also, a live photo booth was also there. Different people came & got themselves clicked. Many students & faculty took full benefit of this activity. Also, Dulari Albums were the printing partners. It was because of them the photos got their perfection.

“ The main purpose for this activity was to give students an exposure both in the fields of event management & photography”, said Deepinderjeet Singh Kaler, Assistant Professor of Journalism in PCTE. He further added, “I hope the students have learned great skills of management while managing the event & while clicking the photographs they would have definitely learned the different aspects of photography.”

Inayat Sidhu, a student of Journalism First year said, “ It was a really joyful & learning experience to be a part of the organising team for the event. I thank my teachers for giving us this wonderful opportunity to manage the event.”

Rajvinder Singh, another student of Journalism said, “ I have a keen interest in photography. So, this was a golden opportunity for me to exhibit my photography skills. I am really proud to have done so & hope people would have liked my photography.”

“It is amazing. The decorations are excellent & the efforts made by the students are well paid off”, said Tanya Bakshi, a student of BCA 3rd year who came to visit the exhibition.

Professor Rajpreet Chatwal, the Head Of Department of International Business said, “ It was a very good initiative by the students & faculty of Department of Journalism & Mass Communication. This experience will teach them a lot.”

Dr KNS Kang, the Director General of the college said, “I am so proud of the students & faculty of Department of Journalism & Mass Communication for organising this wonderful exhibition. The main purpose of our college is to give practical exposure to the students & I am sure they would have got a lot.
