CICU organized an Awareness Session on New Labour Codes for HR and Legal Professional Ludhiana, October 15, 2022 and more than 60 HR\IR professionals from all over Punjab attended the session with full enthusiasm.
Mr. Upkar Singh Ahuja President of Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) said in his closing remarks that having strong Legal and Labour Laws knowledge in all aspects of HR\IR is very vital for ethical and employer-employee friendly policies. In this current scenario, having updated legal and labour law skills are essential for every industry and specifically for HR\IR\Legal professionals.
This interactive Awareness session was conducted by Advocate Anil Arora, a Legal Expert with rich experience of 30 years in many corporates and institutions. He has conducted many training programs on labour laws. He emphasised on the various clauses of different present Act’s and amendments coming in the New Wage Code and answers all queries of the participants.
Mr. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU also grace the occasion and appreciate the efforts of HR Core Committee for this initiative. He emphasised to create an ethical work culture in the industry by HR\IR professionals.
Dr. Deepak Jain, AVP, Avon Cycles Limited and Head – HR Core Committee of CICU said that ethically implementation of the Labour Laws at workplace is a very important part of an efficient and legal complaint business. He expressed his gratitude for overwhelmed response from all participants for this programme.
Many HR\IR professional including Mr. Shubinder Moudgil, Aarti Steel Ltd and Programme Co-ordinator, Mr. B. R. Pillai, Ms. Jaswinder, Ms. Ripti, Mr. Neeraj Guleria Mr. Gurpratap, Mr. Puneet Jain, Mr. Ajay Singh Parmar with many HR\IR professionals attended this session. They appreciated the initiative taken by CICU HR Core Committee to improve and upgrade the working culture of the HR\Legal Function of the Industries of Punjab.
