Akal Takhat Express bomb found. An explosive found in Akal Takhat Express 12317/UP from Kolkata to Amritsar at around 1 am today. Police got the information that there is bomb in B-3 AC coach after which the train was stopped at Akbarganj Halt near Amethi.
As soon as the information was received the heavy police force reached at the spot immediately and vacated the passengers from train safely and started investigation.
While confirming the incident RPF commandant Satya Prakash said that suspected object found in toilet of Akaltakhat Express’s B-3 Coach at Akbarganj station.
Bomb difusal squad reached at the spot and recovered the explosive object. A suspected letter was also found with the explosive. it contains the message for india that ‘Dujana ki shahadat ka badla Ab hindustan ko chukana padega’.
SP Sumitra Yadav said that it was low intensity bomb. Train was fully inspected and the bomb has been deactivated after the satisfactory investigation train has been left for its destination-he added.
