The corridors of BCM Arya, Ludhiana sparkled with pride and honour as the bugle call marked the opening of three day glittering Inter school cultural Youth Fest ‘Fusion 2022’. This unique fiesta aims to provide a platform to integrate young and inquisitive minds to exhibit their varied talents and creative skills through euphoric and scintillating presentations.
The auspicious inaugural ceremony of three day conclave commenced with the customary lighting of the ceremonial lamp to invoke the blessings of the Goddess Saraswati. The venerated Chief Guest Ms. Surabhi Malik, DC Ludhiana, a host of dignitaries, esteemed members of the School Management Committee, participating teams, and parents were accorded a cordial welcome by the Principal, Mrs. Anuja Kaushal.
The Chief Guest declared the fest open by unveiling a scroll following which all the 34 participating teams from the different states of the country as well as Nepal took part in an introduction and welcome parade. In her address, the chief guest congratulated BCM Arya for being the trailblazer in achieving many educational feats not only in the city but also on national and international canvas.
The audience in a jam packed school auditorium was treated with an exhilarating show of the rich cultural diversity and heritage of the country in the form of dances, music and tableaus. The highlight of the show was Synthesis – The Indian Muse, an amalgamation of Indo- western dance forms which drew a huge applause.
Competitions that took place as a prequel to the opening ceremony included Painting, Comic Strip Making and Suite of instruments (Music) wherein students unleashed their potential and displayed their entrancing creations.
To design and develop the noble roadmap for worldwide better future, students put up Science corner, wherein they displayed science exhibits and popped up with innovative ideas and strategies to highlight Environmental Concerns.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal said, “We are delighted to host the stellar group of students and witness the exchange of their ideas. It is a moment of pride for us to celebrate India’s diversity in all its splendour under one roof.”
The day 2 competitions in a queue are Design Thinking, Impromptu, Untold Story, Eminence-Live your Legend, Tell a Tale, Movie Mania and Truccator.Which will kindle the competitive streak amongst the students, thereby nurturing and shaping their personalities and perspectives.
