One Day Workshop on Low Cost Automation Grand Success

CICU Organized a Workshop on Low Cost Automation, which was a Grand Success attended by 100 Participants from various Industries Like Auto Parts, Sewing Machine, Hand Tools, Bicycle, truck Manufacturer, Machine Tools and Cutting Tools etc.

Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU & Sh. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU in a joint statement said that the Subject is very relevant as industry in reeling under Labor shortage Low Cost Automation is very much beneficial to MSME. They also said that the MSME find difficulty to invest on high cost automation like Robots, CNC transfer Machine, Transfer Tools etc. Low cost Automation is very strong tool to reduce Manpower and control cost.

The infective and thought provoking session was conducted by Mr. Nitin Kumar, who has 15 years of experience into manufacturing and automotive companies. He has been associated with TATA Motors, Ministry of defense, Mahle Filter and people Strong, At Present he is heading consultant and training vertical with tetrahedron. He is B-Tech from IIT Rorkee, PGDM from IIM Calcutta and he was also selected for Indian Engineering Services.

In his presentation, he discussed about various modules like Architecture of Industrial Automation System, How to identify opportunities for Industrial Automation, Different sensors for Industrial Automation, What is Mechanical Low cost Automation: Karakuri Kaizens, Methods of Workpart Transport, Design of Automation and Cost benefits Analysis.

The Vote of thanks was presented by Sh. S.B Singh, Joint Secretary and addressed by CICU Steering Committee.

The program was attended by 100 Participants from Small, medium and Large Industries some few namely by Hero Ecotech, Dashmesh Agrotech, Jindal Fine, Shingora Textile, SML Isuzu Ltd. Ralson, Kayjay Firgings, SKG Engg., Nicks, Pye Tools, Ganga Acrowools, Kangaroo, New swan, tech Auto, Ashoka Dying, Vardhman, Mehta Engg. Swan Mech. (regd.), Sokhi Steels etc.
