FICO awarded 7 Entrepreneurs and celebrated International MSME Day

Today, the Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO) celebrated the International MSME Day at FICO Secretariat Jaimal Road, Janta Nagar, Ludhiana. On the occasion Sh. Varinder Kumar Sharma Director MSME Development Institute (Punjab and Chandigarh) was the Chief Guest and Key Note Speaker who discussed in detail the Government’s schemes for the MSMEs. Also Sh. Rakesh Kansal G.M. DIC Ludhiana was the Guest of Honor on the occasion, he discussed the Punjab Government’s Schemes for the Industry.  
 
FICO awarded 07 Entrepreneurs with MSME Award of Excellence for their distinguished services in their respective fields, the awards were given by Sh. Varinder Kumar Sharma Director MSME Development Institute (Punjab and Chandigarh) and Sh. Rakesh Kansal G.M. DIC Ludhiana.

3. Sh. Puneet Kumar Garg – J.R.B. Strips Private Limited (Steel Industry)

6. Sh. Parminder Singh Matharoo – Harison International (Bicycle Parts)
7. Sh. Sarabjeet Singh Makkar – M.S. Enterprises (Bicycle Parts)
 
FICO an organization for the betterment of Trade & Industry, pledges to serve the trade & industry more vigorously in the coming years. The United Nations General Assembly designated 27 June as “Micro-, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises Day” to raise awareness of the tremendous contributions of micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to the economies. MSMEs account for 90% of businesses, 60 to 70% of employment and 50% of GDP worldwide, said S. Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO.
