CICU organized an Interactive Meeting between Sh. Sandeep Sharma, PPS, ADCP, Ludhiana & Focal Point Police Department and Industrialists at CICU Complex, Focal Point, Ludhiana.
Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU welcomed the Guests and mentioned that the Police plays a very vital role for establishing peace amongst the Industrialists and it leads to a calm and peaceful atmosphere in the area and better productivity of the Industry. He also requested the Police to increase the patrolling, especially; on the days of pay to avoiding mis-happening like snatching, Theft in the Factories, Snatching Vigilance of scrape daily, Slaughter on the roads, Labor Mafia etc.
Sh. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU mentioned that factory owners face a typical problem as workers complain to Police for minor payment disputes. Chowki incharges’ call factory owners to Chowkis and harass them where as they should ask Labourers to visit Labour Office for payment related issues.
Sh Sharma also said that the Unauthorized Parking of heavy vehicles on the main roads should be stopped as it causes frequent traffic jams, especially during office hours. This happens mainly on Sherpur Raod. He also said that many snatching incident occur on Pay days, so Police must provide security on such days when advance & salary is distributed to Laborers inorder to avoid snatching incidents. He further said that the Police Department should increase night patrolling in the Focal Point areas.
This Program was conducted in coordination with Sh. Sandeep Sharma, PPS, ADCP, Ludhiana & Police Department. He mentioned that the efforts are being made by the Police Department to provide better Law & Order situation in the City. He also assured that the Industrialists’ issues will be taken on top priority and shall also be given due respect while visiting to the Police stations. He also said that the main reason of crime is gap in the communications. Industrialist should communicates with PCR while they are visiting in their areas.
