Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU welcome all the Dignitaries and said that the objective of the seminar is to promote and develop, participation of MSMEs in the marketing development assistance as well as supply of products & services to Ministry of Railways-RDSO. He further said that the Ministry of Railways-RDSO is an organization of Ministry of Railways which is engaged in the activity of Vendor Development for safety and vital items required for manufacturing and maintenance of railway infrastructure.
Sh. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU said that this is the Opportunity for Manufacturers & Suppliers to become Vendor for Ministry of Railways-RDSO and this seminar conducted for industries of Ludhiana area about the requirements of Indian Railways and its system of Vendor approval. He emphasised that the MSME sector is back bone of Indian industry and they are partners of Railways for operational and maintenance activities.
There were presentation from RDSO given by Sh. Lokesh Singh, Director RDSO New Delhi, in which the detail procedure of vender registration and approval by RDSO, various schemes run by RDSO has given. The MSMEs can register online in the RDSO website/portal, there is no need visit office. The RDSO team comprising Sh. Manoj Ram, Strorer, RDSO, Lucknow, Sh, Neelash Mahesh, RDSO, Lucknow, Sh. J.R Meera, Deputy Director, QA (Civil) and Sh. Indal Prasad, ADE/Electrical.
It was a very well attended by with more than 150 participants. S/Sh. Neeraj Dhamija, Sanjay Gupta, S.B Singh, Sanjay Bhatia, O.P Bhatia, Honey Sethi, Deepinder Ranger, Rajinder Jindal, Tejvinder Singh and other prominent member also presented.
