CICU INTENDS TO INCREASE EXPORT TO CHINA

A Delegation consisting 5 members from China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association (CAMDA), China visited and interacted with Industrialists of Ludhiana at CICU Complex, Focal Point, Ludhiana.

 

Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU decided during the meeting that Information Exchange from CICU members companies with Chinese manufacturing will increase Indian Exports to China.  It was also decided that CICU will send a delegation to China during CIAME-2018 Exhibition and correspondent CAMDA Members from China will participate in IETSS-2018 at Ludhiana. It will help in increasing Exports of Agriculture Machinery to China. He further mentioned that tractor price is lower in India as compared to China, this give a indication that farm implement can be exported to China

 

Mr. Chen Tao, Vice-Chairman of Association said that China has been the largest agricultural machinery producer country in the world. According to statistics, in the Year of 2016, some 2319 agricultural machinery enterprises with an annual sales income of no less than 20 million RMB reached a total income of 451.6 billion RMB, or 67.4 billion US dollars within their main business.  The output of tractor of 100 horsepower or above of enterprises above designated size in China was 63 thousand unit, the output of tractor between 25 horsepower and 100 horsepower 567 thousand unit, and the output of combine harvester was about 180 thousand unit.

 

The rapid development of China’s agricultural Machinery Industry is closely related to the policy of Agricultural Machinery subsidies, which firstly implemented in 2004. In the year of 2016, the subsidy reached 22.8 billion RMB, or 3 billion US dollars. Under the effective policy, China’s agricultural machinery industry has been in golden ages. The successive upgrade of agricultural machinery ownership brings the continuous improvement of China’s agricultural mechanization level.
