Fourth CICU Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2017 took a start on 08.10.2017 with great excitement. The tournament matches will be played on every Sunday, which is spread over period of 8 weeks at Cricket Ground SCD Govt. College for Boys Ludhiana. Eight Participating Corporate Teams have been divided into two Groups. Each team would be playing three league matches.
Sh. Pardeep Kumar Aggarwal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana inaugurated the CICU T20 Cricket Tournament – 2017, who motivated the Teams Players and boosted their morale.
Eleventh League match for Group A was played between Kangaro Industries Limited V/s Asian Cranes on this Sunday. It was won by Kangaro Industries Limited. They scored 126 runs in 20 Overs by losing 8 wickets and lost by Asian Cranes by scoring 86 runs in 16.3 Overs by losing all wickets. The Both teams played well with full excitement. The best batsman of the match was declared Mr. Arun Shelly of Kangaro Industries Limited who scored 35 runs with 2 fours in 38 balls only and the best bowler of Kangaro Industries Limited was declared Mr. Chandan who took 3 wickets in 4 overs with 1 maiden over by giving 9 runs only.
Twelfth League match for Group B was played between Big Ben Exports Limited V/s New Swan Multitech Limited Team B on this Sunday. It was won by Big Ben Exports Limited by scoring 167 runs in 20 Overs by losing 7 wickets and lost by New Swan Multitech Limited Team B by scoring 114 runs in 20 Overs by losing 7 wickets. The Both teams played well with full excitement. The best batsman of the match was declared Mr. Pawan Kumar of Big Ben Exports Limited who scored 70 runs with 8 fours in 54 balls only and the best bowler of Kangaro Industries Limited was declared Mr. Surinder who took 2 wickets in 4 overs by giving 21 runs.
Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja President CICU said that Ludhiana is full of cricket fans and a lot of enthusiasm is seen among youngsters for this tournament. Watching your sport live at the cricket ground is a fun filled and awesome experience.

He congratulated the winner Teams of the Eleventh & Twelfth League Matches i.e. Kangaro Industries Limited and Big Ben Exports Limited.
Many cricket lovers including senior management persons and promoters of many companies like S/Sh. Sham Lal Gupta Prop. SSEW, Rattandeep Singh Director Asian Cranes, N.K Gupta Director CICU / Tournament Coordinator and large numbers of young cricket lovers enjoyed the live cricket with full of excitement. They appreciated the arrangements made by CICU Management during this Tournament specially for this match. They also appreciated the pitch and ground preparation of Outfield.
